about

Lumina Collective

Lumina Collective is a Lynn-based creative initiative built to connect, create, educate, and empower creativity within the community.

We provide accessible workshops, cultural events, artist opportunities, and creative resources for both youth and adults. Our programs introduce participants to areas such as graphic design, street art, fashion, screen printing, photography, digital media, and creative entrepreneurship.

Lumina Collective was created to help local artists and emerging creatives develop their skills, share their work, build professional opportunities, and form meaningful connections. We believe creativity can strengthen confidence, create career pathways, and bring communities together.

Our long-term vision is to establish a welcoming creative hub in Lynn where people can learn, collaborate, exhibit their work, sell their products, and grow as artists and entrepreneurs.

mission

Lumina Collective’s mission is to connect, create, educate, and empower through accessible arts, cultural experiences, and creative opportunities. We provide youth and adults with the tools, space, mentorship, and community needed to develop their talents, build sustainable creative careers, and bring their ideas to life. Rooted in Lynn, we are building an inclusive creative hub where artists, entrepreneurs, and community members can learn, collaborate, and grow together.

Founder’s Story

Lumina Collective was founded by Dash Lopez from Boston, Mass. A artist, designer, creative director, and community organizer who believes that creativity can transform lives and strengthen communities.

Throughout his journey as a self-taught creative professional, Dash experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to access affordable equipment, workspaces, mentorship, education, and opportunities within the arts. He also saw talented young people and emerging artists with powerful ideas but few places where they could develop their skills, build confidence, and connect with others.

These experiences inspired the creation of Lumina Collective, a creative hub designed to connect, educate, and empower the people of Lynn. Through hands-on labs, cultural events, open studio access, professional development, and opportunities to showcase and sell creative work, Lumina aims to make the arts more accessible while building a stronger local creative economy.

For Dash, Lumina is more than an organization. It is a way to create the resources, community, and opportunities he wished were available earlier in his own journey. His vision is to build a lasting space where creativity is valued, local talent is supported, and the next generation of artists and entrepreneurs can see a real future for themselves right here in Lynn.
